This position is located in the Department of Employment Services (DOES), Workforce Development Bureau. The mission of DOES is to foster economic development and growth in the District of Columbia by providing workforce training, linking job seekers with employers, compensating unemployed and injured workers and promoting safe and healthy workplaces.

Key responsibilities include:
Works directly with, and assists the Director in carrying out a wide range of routine, complex and/or unique tasks and assignments associated with ensuring high quality performance in the Workforce Development Bureau.
Oversees, plans, and coordinates various aspects of research, design, and program implementation. Performs independent research and analysis of other state and local programs to ensure that the agency is informed of best practice standards, innovations and trends in Workforce for the District of Columbia.
