Overview
Join a 1-hour webinar on Friday, May 3, from 3-4 p.m. ET to learn about the Industries of Ideas project. The near-term opportunity is for interested states to serve on an advisory committee to inform the development of a prototype that will be scalable to additional states and technologies.
The National Science Foundation’s Technology, Innovation, and Partnerships (TIP) Directorate is funding the prototype to test the potential of securely combining university and state data to measure the link between federal investments in local and regional economies for two important technologies: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Electric Vehicles (EV).
The May 3rd webinar will provide a brief project overview, demonstrate the initial alpha version and dashboard product, and provide input to guide improvements in data, functionality, and measures to better address state stakeholder needs. Participants will be offered the opportunity to access the alpha dashboard and follow up with project team members to ask additional questions and provide more detailed responses.
This project is approved by the Midwest Collaborative (MWC) as part of the Multi-State Data Collaborative work administered by the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA).
