2021 NASWA SUMMIT COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Your Health & Safety Is Our Priority. In an effort to provide an engaging and participatory experience while keeping the health & safety of attendees as our priority, we are instituting the following protocols consistent with CDC Guidelines.
Attendee Health & Safety Responsibilities for the 2021 NASWA Summit:
Pre-Conference
- In order to attend the SUMMIT and/or Committee Meetings, all attendees must
- Register in advance by November 15th. There will be no onsite registration.
- Complete the Participation Agreement during registration.
- This Agreement must be completed with your registration in order to attend the conference and/or committee meetings.
- Do not attend if you are sick. Should you become sick and must cancel plans to attend the conference, NASWA will issue a full refund of any registration fees paid.
- Contact NASWA Meetings to request a cancellation and refund.
- Vaccinations are not required to attend but are strongly encouraged. NASWA staff in attendance will all be fully vaccinated.
At the Conference
- Masks will be required for everyone during the event unless eating or drinking along with moderate social distancing.
- All registered attendees will have assigned seating. Please be sure to register in advance.
- No-Touch Check-In: Registration packets & name badges will be available at attendees’ assigned seats.
- Moderate social distancing will be required in all meeting rooms and conference space.
- Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the conference space.
- Meals will be delivered following Hilton EventReady protocols and standards.
- All participants shall adhere to all COVID-19 protocols set by NASWA in the Participation Agreement Form and reiterated in our Onsite Health and Safety Measures by complying with all relevant signage and instructions, and by complying with all seating and capacity restrictions.
- All participants shall screen for symptoms of COVID-19 each morning before attending the conference.
- Participants should not participate if they experience symptoms associated with COVID-19 while attending the SUMMIT and are encouraged to seek medical care if necessary.
- Should you have to discontinue conference participation after becoming ill on-site, NASWA will issue a full refund of any registration fees paid – contact NASWA Meetings to request a refund.
Post-Conference
- If you receive a positive COVID-19 diagnosis within 14 days of attending the event, please inform NASWA so that we can perform the necessary follow-up.
