The past year has seen a significant impact on the world of work due to COVID-19. In the face of lockdowns, the pandemic forced many companies to adjust quickly, and we saw a rise in the number of jobs that transitioned from in-office to remote working environments. And now that many businesses have already transitioned the bulk of their employees to remote work, those companies will likely keep a portion or all workforce as fully or partially remote. In a nutshell, remote work is here to stay, and veterans and those who serve them will benefit from understanding the jobs and skills that map to remote work opportunities. This session will explore PAIRIN and FlexJob’s research on the top 10 remote work career paths for 2021 and the critical skills they require.

Presenters: Dr. Dan Hawthorne*, Director of IO Psychology, PAIRIN; and Mika Cross*^, Workplace Transformation Strategist & Workforce Futurist, former VP of FlexJobs
