Plenary Session: Spread the Word. Vet Centers Work.

Independence Ballroom

Description

Spread the Word. Vet Centers Work.

Life isn't always easy after a deployment. That's where the VA’s Vet Centers can help. Conveniently located in your community, Vet Centers help you and your family build meaningful connections, develop tools for achieving success, and aid in the transition from military service. Vet Centers provide individual, group, marriage and family counseling, community engagement, and referral services to Veterans and service members who served in combat operations, areas of hostility, stateside deployments or endured military service-related trauma. Eligibility varies based on individual military experience including those with service in the National Guard, Reserves, and Coast Guard. Services are free for life, and do not require enrollment in the VA Healthcare System or a service-connected disability rating. For more information visit www.vetcenter.va.gov, or contact the Vet Center Call Center 24/7 at 877-927-8387.
