MSDC Learn-and-Share Session: Using Administrative Data to Improve Reentry Strategies

Join us for the Multi-State Data Collaborative (MSDC) Learn-and-Share session,  Using Administrative Data to Improve Reentry Strategies: A Peer Sharing Session on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 (3:00 – 4:15 p.m. ET). 

OVERVIEW

State agencies are increasingly working together to leverage administrative data to understand reentry outcomes and inform strategies that support successful workforce reintegration. To explore common state interests in this space, we invite you to a virtual Learn and Share session where we will highlight some emerging state efforts and opportunities for collaboration through the MSDC.

During this interactive session, we will:

• Highlight two state journeys to use administrative data for reentry research: North Carolina and Missouri.
• Use live polling to gather insights into the range of data activities underway in other state agencies and identify existing research partnerships and resource needs.
• Share an upcoming collaborative research opportunity.

This discussion will also help shape a new MSDC Reentry Insights Working Group. The working group will meet in-person at the March MSDC Annual Meeting to align priorities and identify collaborative research opportunities and resource-sharing strategies. We look forward to your participation and insights as we build a foundation in the MSDC for cross-state collaboration in this important area.
