The NASWA National Business of the Year award is conferred upon businesses that consistently strive to positively impact their workforce, industry and community. Recipients of this award are also recognized for their support and use of the state and/or local workforce system.

"Love's is an outstanding example of all that can be achieved when employers take an active role in communities to provide successful workforce and economic development opportunities," said Scott Sanders, Executive Director of NASWA. "Love's has not only improved the lives of their employees, but has also enriched the economic vitality of many communities."

"Being selected for this award is truly an honor," said Jenny Love Meyer, vice president of communications for Love's Travel Stops. "With the addition of more than 40 travel stops so far in 2016, opening hotels under the Love's Hospitality flag and the acquisition of Trillium CNG, we've experienced tremendous growth this year. We've expanded because we're passionate about serving more Customers, and it's humbling to be recognized for our contributions to the workforce."
