2024 SIDES Seminar Wrap-up
SIDES Superstars gathered in Pittsburgh, PA, the “City of Champions”, in March to participate in the annual State Information Data Exchange System (SIDES) Seminar! Held in conjunction with the National UI IB & Federal Programs’ and the Administration & Finance Trainings, the 2024 SIDES Seminar chose the theme: “Rivers of Knowledge.” Each breakout session focused on “knowledge exchange,” with promising practices and lessons learned were shared and many consisted of through expert panel discussions and/or roundtable conversations. An in-person SIDES Operations Committee meeting was also held where a variety of upcoming SIDES changes were discussed.
With 216 attendees and a 95% satisfaction rating this year, the SIDES Seminar continues to be an essential training tool for state workforce agencies across the country. The NASWA SIDES team is extremely grateful to our members that who continue to make the Seminar a valuable experience. We’re counting down the days until the 2025 SIDES Seminar in Salt Lake City, Utah!
