January 2023 Veterans Affairs Committee Meeting

Over 50 members of NASWA’s Veterans Affairs committee held their monthly virtual meeting on January 12. Three different organizations shared information on their services to Veterans – TaTio, Calibre Systems and SANS Cyber Institute – and USDOL VETS gave their monthly policy and program update. Three workgroups that are looking at policies related to marketing JVSG services in the AJC, expending DVOP eligibility, and serving Veterans with disabilities also updated the full committee on their work to date. The committee’s next virtual meeting is Friday, February 10.
