NASWA, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor, is pleased to announce the availability of a new virtual instructor-led training course on Data Validation delivered through NASWA Learning.
Data Validation (DV) Course
Four 3-hour long sessions (12 total hours)
Using sample data sets, the course is designed to help learners understand the purpose and how to perform data validation effectively, as well as how to troubleshoot data validation populations that are not passing. Topics covered in the course include fundamentals of Data Validation, the extract file, report validation, data element validation, benefit and tax populations, validating random sampling in quality samples, validating wage items, and concludes with practice exercises.
Courses will be offered on the following schedule:
- July 31-August 3, 2023; 1:00 to 4:00 pm EST
- August 14-17, 2023; 1:00 to 4:00 pm EST
- September 11-14, 2023; 1:00 to 4:00 pm EST
The class is appropriate for both new and seasoned Data Validators. Course enrollments are capped at 30 participants per session.
