VetCentral Connects Veterans with Employers

VetCentral is a tool that helps connect veterans with employers by facilitating the delivery of federal contractor jobs in compliance with the Jobs for Veterans Act (JVA) and the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA).

Each day over 1,500 Local Veterans' Employment Representatives (LVERs), Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program Specialists (DVOPs), Consolidated DVOP/LVER positions, and Business Services Representatives stationed at American Job Centers (AJCs) nationwide receive job openings from VetCentral, via email, that they can share with veterans, military spouses, transitioning service members, and other non-veteran job seekers in their respective communities. The goal is to assist these individuals in finding meaningful employment opportunities.

What is the benefit to NASWA members?

VetCentral provides the opportunity for state workforce agency staff to create meaningful relationships with local employers, promote the wide variety of no-cost services available at AJCs and expand job opportunities for veterans, military spouses, and transitioning service members within their state.
