Colorado The Pandemic is the Mother of Invention

This session will provide a detailed look at three virtual tools developed by the state of Colorado in response to the pandemic: Virtual Career Guidance, VETS Vortex and the Veterans Resource Room.

Presenter: James Bell*, State Regional Director, Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and Colin Schneider*, State Veterans Coordinator, Colorado Department of Labor and Employment

Massachusetts Virtual Walk-In Clinics

Massachusetts started their virtual walk-in clinics in May 2020, in direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Modeled after our actual walk-in clinics that had been around for the previous few years, it has improved the commonwealth’s outreach efforts, strengthen partnerships with the Veterans Administration and our supportive service network.

Presenter: Jack McKenna*, Veterans Employment Representative, Massachusetts Department of Career Services
