Maine - Hire Vets Medallion Recognition Program – A Boost for Businesses

Due to the low number of businesses in Maine being recognized through the US DOL VETS HIRE Vets Medallion Recognition Program, the Maine Department of Labor Veterans Team embarked on delivering a presentation to increase exposure of the program as a Veteran recruitment and retention tool. Developed shortly after the 2020 recipients were announced, this presentation covers HIRE Vets program background, addresses program requirements, acknowledges Maine recognition recipients, walks through several application examples and highlights program benefits to employers.

North Carolina – NC Works Hire Vets Medallion

Want to better highlight employers in your state who have received Hire Veterans Medallion recognition? North Carolina created a HIRE Vets Medallion graphic that allowed staff and job seekers to easily identify any employer or job order. Any organization using the Geographic Solutions Inc. job search software has access to this option in their system.
